Gospel: This world we live in is like a playground. After our salvation, we start our race in CHRIST. Those who come 1st, 2nd or 3rd place receive the prize. Others lose the prize. Our spiritual race is to win the carnal race. It is very difficult to win the lust of the world. If we observe the athletes who run the race, aim for the trophy, and prepare themselves to receive the trophy through hard training. St Paul explains it clearly. He compares the athlete to a believer. Just as athletes receive trophies according to their place, there are divisions in the kingdom of GOD. Like an athlete, we must subdue the desires of the flesh. Only then can we receive the precious blessings that GOD has prepared for us.
