🛒 *Ingredients*
➡️ Tomatoes – 4 medium (roughly chopped)
➡️ Onion – 1 small (chopped)
➡️ Garlic cloves – 3–4
➡️ Butter – 1 tbsp
➡️ Water – 1 cup
➡️ Salt – as per taste
➡️ Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
➡️ Sugar – ½ tsp (optional)
➡️ Fresh cream – 1 tbsp (optional, for garnish)
👩🍳 *Method*
Step 1: Heat butter in a pan on medium flame.
Step 2: Add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until soft and slightly translucent.
Step 3: Add chopped tomatoes and water.
Step 4: Cook for 8–10 minutes until the tomatoes become soft and mushy.
Step 5: Let the mixture cool slightly, then blend into a smooth puree.
Step 6: Pour the puree back into the pan.
Step 7: Add salt, black pepper, and sugar. Mix well.
Step 8: Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Step 9: Serve hot and garnish with a swirl of fresh cream.
