Today, we meditate on the "Commitment" involved in following Jesus. The cross is not a burden; it is a "Mark of Discipleship." ​👉 When you deny yourself 👉 Christ increases within you! 🏛️ 1️⃣ Denying the Self (Denying the Self) ✨ Explanation: Denying oneself means crucifying our desires, anxieties, and ego. It is only when "I" decrease that "God" can fill our lives. 🔍 Spiritual Insight: One who does not deny self cannot fully understand the Heavenly plan. True commitment is acknowledging that God's plan is greater than your own plans. 📌 Note: 👉 Decide to live according to His will, not your own pleasure. 👉 Let this Lenten season be a time that transforms your "Self." 🏗️ 2️⃣ Taking up the Cross (Taking up the Cross) ✨ Explanation: The cross is not just the suffering we endure; it is the "Responsibility" we accept for the sake of the Lord. Taking it up willingly is true discipleship. 🔍 Spiritual Insight: Resurrection happened only because Jesus carried the cross. The cross (hardships/responsibilities) you carry today will lead you toward a great glory tomorrow. 📌 Note: 👉 Do not be afraid when you see the cross. 👉 Where there is a cross, there is also victory. 💡 3️⃣ Constant Following (Constant Following) ✨ Explanation: "Follow Me" is not a one-time act; it is something that must happen every single moment. It is like following a guide in an unknown territory. 🔍 Spiritual Insight: Let the world be behind you and the cross before you. In the path of following Jesus, there is light and there is protection. 📌 Note: 👉 Do not look at men; run looking unto the Lord. 👉 Though there may be obstacles in His path, the end is Eternal Life. 🔥 Prophetic Decree Today, I declare by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit: 👉 The old natures that had paralyzed you are abolished today in the name of Jesus. 👉 Every small effort you take for the Lord will yield manifold results. 👉 The Lord gives special strength today to your weary shoulders to carry the cross. 👉 This decision you take will bring a blessing to your family. 🙏 Prayer “Loving Father, Grant me the grace to deny myself, take up my cross, and follow You.
