Pitted against the experienced Ram Pal, Nishad, 26, triumphed with a stunning jump of 2.06m in their T47 High Jump final match. Respect Button here 👉: Nishad was just 8 years old when his right hand was accidentally chopped off in a fodder-cutting machine at his family farm. He watched his hand fall into the machine. Villagers pitied the farmer's son. Yet, he didn't let the accident cut his wings. Today he jumps higher than anyone else! He fought like a warrior! The cool winter afternoon did not deter the competitive spirit of the athletes, as 24-year-old Roderick and 28-year-old Praveen also won medals in their respective events. The stadium fell silent as Nishad approached the bar, proving that you don't need two hands to touch the sky, you need courage. All eyes were on the men’s High Jump T47 gold medal match between Nishad and Ram Pal. Ram Pal started strong, clearing 1.98m effortlessly. Nishad struggled initially with his balance. However, in the deciding final jump, Nishad chanted "Jai Bajrangbali" and leaped. The bar stayed still as he cleared 2.06m, clinching the gold and silencing the struggle. "Firstly, Ram Pal bhai pushes me to my limits. Personally, on this holy Saturday & Shani Pradosh, I am grateful for all the blessings bestowed by Bajrangbali & Mata Tara that I found strength to fly. My cut hand is not my weakness, it is my motivation," Nishad told Media after the win. The soft-spoken hero spoke about the pain: "Earlier, it was difficult to even tie my shoelaces with one hand, but now I wear the India jersey with pride. I jump to show that a farmer's son never gives up." Salute to these sons of India! 🇮🇳 Comment "JAI HIND" if you are proud. #shamshadhero #NishadKumar #HighJump #Inspiration #Respect #IndiaSports #photography #harharmahade #fblifestylechallenge #photographer #hanumanji #Somnath #somnathtemple #mahadev #TrendingNow #ViralPost #Emotional #JaiHind #KheloIndia #JumpKing #SaturdayVibes #ShaniDev #MaaTara #FarmerSon | Shawon 2.0
