Chaitra Navaratri – Day 1
Maa Shailaputri (The Beginning of the Divine Journey)
The first sunrise of Chaitra Navaratri opens with Maa Shailaputri, the first manifestation of Goddess Durga. Her name means “Daughter of the Mountain”, as she was born to Himalaya, the king of mountains.
She represents the starting point of spiritual awakening, like the first spark when a lamp is lit in a dark temple. 🔱
