The Beating Retreat ceremony, marking the culmination of the 77th Republic Day celebrations, will be held today at Vijay Chowk in New Delhi. President Smt. A Learjet 45 (VT-SSK) aircraft, operated by VSR Ventures Pvt Ltd, was carrying five people on board, including the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister, two more personnel and two crew members. No one on board survived the crash. The bureau, in a statement, informed that deported individuals were wanted by the Malaysian authorities for the offences related to organised criminal activities. 2. Five people on board, including the crew, were killed when the plane, flying from Mumbai, crash-landed at 08:45 local time, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said. Pawar was travelling to attend a Zilla Parishad election rally. He had been in Mumbai on Tuesday for a Maharashtra Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure meeting chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The longest-serving Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Pawar held the post six times under different governments. He began his political career in 1982.
