#Shawwal Day -5 Roza Six days of the month of Shawwal * Imaam Muslim رَحِمَهُ اللهُ reported in his 'Saheeh' (no.1164): "Yahyaa ibn Ayyoob, Qutaybah ibn Sa'eed, and `Alee ibn Hujr all narrated to us: from Ismaa'eel. Ibn Ayyoob said: Ismaa'eel ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Sa`d ibn Sa'eed ibn Qays related to me: from `Umar ibn Thaabit ibn al-Haarith al-Khazrajee: from Aboo Ayyoob al-Ansaaree رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ that Allaah's Messenger صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said : مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَهُ سِرًّا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ كَانَ كَصِيَامِ الدَّهْرِ Whoever fasted Ramadaan, then followed it with six days of Shawwaal, then it will be like fasting the whole of time.
