What is Fire?
Fire is a chemical reaction called combustion.
Fire occurs when fuel, oxygen and heat are present together in a certain proportion.
How is fire generated?
Three elements have to be together in order for a fire to be generated. These are
1. Fuel (fuel substance) - such as wood, paper, gas, oil, etc.
2. Heat (heat) - which gives heat up to ignition temperature
3. Oxygen Oxygen in the air helps in the combustion process
When these three are together, the fire burns. Removing a component extinguishes the fire.
▲ Fire Triangle:
The Fire Triangle is made up of these three elements.
Fire Triangle = Fuel + Heat + Oxygen
If any of these three are removed।
