Fuel sales in Odisha saw a significant rise in May. Diesel sales grew by 9.7% reaching 70,300 tonnes compared to last year's 64,100 tonnes. Petrol sales also increased by 2.8% to 29,000 tonnes. Despite global supply challenges due to the Middle East crisis, increased economic activities, transportation demands, and industrial/agricultural usage drove this growth.
