To reduce the burden on government labs and provide quick reports, the health department is setting up separate laboratories in partnership with HLL Lifecare (Hind Labs) at Sir C.V. Raman and Jayanagar Public Hospitals in Bengaluru. These labs will charge as per CGHS rates and allow patients with prescriptions from any doctor to get tested. A special home sample collection service will also be available for senior citizens and bedridden patients.
