The evergreen Odia song 'Sathire Ja Kahi' from the movie 'Gapa Hele Bi Sata' was originally meant to be sung by Lata Mangeshkar. However, due to her throat infection on the day of recording, Suman Kalyanpur was chosen instead. Music directors Bhuban-Hari composed the tune, and lyricist Gurukrushna Goswami wrote the lines in just three minutes. On Suman's suggestion to maintain the song's melody, the phrase 'Sathire Kahi Ja' was changed to 'Sathire Ja Kahi'. The recording was completed in four hours at a studio in Bombay for a fee of 1,000 rupees. https://sambad.in/entertainment/lata-didnt-come-suman-sang-12006496 #creator program
