The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026, scheduled for June 28, has been postponed following a question paper leak. The leak was discovered in Bhiwandi, Thane, about 24 hours before the exam. Police conducted a raid, seized the leaked papers, and arrested several suspects. The Maharashtra State Council of Examinations confirmed the leaked content matched the original papers. Over 4.28 lakh candidates were registered to appear at 1,028 centers across the state. A new exam date will be announced after the investigation is completed.
