A 45-year-old farmer named Dana Majhi from Samapala village in Kalahandi district died after being bitten by a poisonous cobra while working in his field. Although his family attempted to rush him to the Thua-Rampur Community Health Center in a 108 ambulance, he passed away en route near Gopalpur. He was the sole breadwinner for his family, leaving behind a wife and a young daughter.
