Utkal University has implemented a 'No Vehicle Day' on Saturdays to make the campus pollution-free. Based on the Governor's advice, petrol and diesel vehicles are restricted from 9 AM to 5 PM. While EV shuttles and ambulances are provided as alternatives, the first day saw tension and arguments at the main gate due to lack of prior information among students and visitors.
