A head constable named Siddaraju from the Male Mahadeshwara Betta police station in Hanur taluk has been suspended for misbehaving with a truck driver and demanding money at the Palar checkpoint. The driver, Sultan, filmed the constable demanding 200 rupees and refusing to let the corn-laden truck pass when only 50 rupees was offered.
