The Brahmagiri range in Odisha has set an all-time record by safely releasing 66,451 Olive Ridley sea turtle hatchlings into the ocean. Out of over 74,000 eggs collected from 646 nests along a 26 km coastal stretch between Mangala river mouth and Baliharchandi, the forest department managed to protect and hatch a significant majority.
