Authorities in Australia have seized over 100,000 illegal Madagascar Hissing cockroaches in Bathurst, New South Wales. Valued at approximately $143,000 in the international market, this is considered the largest seizure of invertebrates in Australia. These cockroaches, which grow up to 3 inches long and make a 'hissing' sound when threatened, are primarily used as food for reptiles. The seizure occurred during an investigation into the illegal import and breeding of exotic invertebrates. While no arrests have been made yet, police investigations are ongoing. https://sambad.in/special/madagascar-cockroach-in-australia-12012147 #creator program
