The Health Department of Thane district has achieved significant success under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS). 8 health centers (4 primary health centers and 4 sub-centers) received national-level certification, while 10 sub-centers earned state-level recognition. The centers were evaluated on criteria like cleanliness, patient safety, medicine availability, and patient satisfaction.
