Tibetan refugees living in Odisha's Gajapati district for 67 years are still struggling for their full citizenship and voting rights. The recent exclusion of Tibetan settlements from the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process has sparked fresh concerns. Despite being the fourth generation, administrative hurdles and lack of documents keep many away from voter lists. Only 42 Tibetans voted in the 2024 elections.
