UPSC has established three new exam centers in Bhubaneswar, Kanpur, and Meerut for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026 to reduce crowding. A total of 23,000 candidates have opted for these new centers, bringing the total number of centers to 83. Specifically, 10,656 candidates chose Bhubaneswar, which has reduced the pressure on the Cuttack center. Special measures are being taken for PwBD candidates to ensure they get centers of their choice.
