The annual Amarnath Yatra has commenced with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagging off the first batch of pilgrims from Jammu. For the first time, Artificial Intelligence (AI), drones, and 34 facial recognition cameras are being used to ensure high-level security along the 48-km route. Over 4 lakh devotees have registered for the 57-day pilgrimage.
