God wants to tell us that every time we only pretend to love, we make ourselves more empty and poor from within. Love has the immense power to make our lives rich and beautiful. However, if we are just acting a part without any real feeling—meaning, if we are only faking love—it acts like a poison for us. This is because, through this acting, we secretly teach ourselves that love is just a game. As a result, slowly but surely, we completely lose the ability to open our hearts to true love.
