Rourkela police busted a major brown sugar smuggling network in the Minapada area under Plantsite police station. Eight people, including six women, were arrested with 220 grams of brown sugar valued at over ₹1 crore. Police also seized ₹2.7 lakh in cash and mobile phones. The syndicate primarily targeted school and college students.
