Diljit Dosanjh's film, originally titled 'Punjab 95', has finally been released on ZEE5 under the new title 'Satluj' after a three-and-a-half-year struggle with the CBFC. Despite the censor board demanding 127 cuts, director Honey Trehan and Dosanjh refused to compromise on the content, only agreeing to change the title. The film is a biopic of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, who investigated enforced disappearances in Punjab during the 1980s and 90s.
