Farmers in Balangir district staged a protest at the Civil Supplies Officer (CSO) office due to delays in paddy procurement. Despite procurement starting on May 23, no paddy has been bought from Agalpur and Naogaon mandis. Farmers under the banner of Milita Krushak Mancha are demanding the replacement of two designated millers who are allegedly acting arbitrarily.
