The Odisha School and Mass Education Department has introduced a new timetable aligned with NEP-2020. Students will now attend school without bags for 10 days in an academic year. Specifically, for Class 6th to 8th, there will be 10 bag-less days, while Shishu Vatika children will observe every Saturday as a bag-less day. The curriculum aim is to reduce the academic burden.
