An armed robbery attempt took place at a gold shop near Patapola Chhak in Balasore's Chandipur area during broad daylight. Three criminals entered the shop posing as customers and threatened the owner, Sanjit Kamila, with sharp weapons. When the owner raised an alarm and family members rushed out, the robbers fled the scene after snatching his mobile phone. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
