The PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is facing challenges in Mayurbhanj district due to a lack of public awareness. Although the scheme aims to provide up to 300 units of free electricity and solar panel subsidies, only 4,772 out of 11,927 applicants have benefited so far. The local electricity department has set a target to include 2 lakh out of 5 lakh consumers in the district.
