A 27-year-old painter named Mohammed Khasim from Ramanagara was allegedly murdered after visiting his former girlfriend's house in Bengaluru's Byatarayanapura. Khasim, who had been in a relationship with the woman for years, continued to visit her even after her marriage. On May 25, the woman's husband and his family members allegedly assaulted Khasim when they found him at their residence. Although he managed to return to Ramanagara after public intervention, he succumbed to his injuries in a hospital the following day.
