A businessman named Sheikh Hamid was shot dead in broad daylight at Aradabazar in Balasore. Two unidentified miscreants on a bike followed his car and fired 8 rounds of bullets as soon as he stepped out. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. Hamid was declared dead after being taken to the Balasore hospital.
