Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep concern over 1,678 errors found in 55 new textbooks for classes 1 to 8. A high-level three-member committee led by the Development Commissioner has been formed to investigate the matter and submit a report within 7 days. The errors include spelling mistakes and incorrect images, such as the Karnataka Assembly picture in place of the Odisha Assembly.
