A tragic road accident occurred in Ganjam district, Odisha, where a passenger bus collided with an auto-rickshaw carrying pilgrims. The accident took place near Ladakapalli Chowk under Purushottampur police limits as the devotees were heading to Singhasani Pitha. Six people, including two children, lost their lives after the bus dragged the auto and crashed into a tree. Four others are critically injured and undergoing treatment at Kodala Community Health Centre.
