The Odisha State Cabinet has approved a mega project worth ₹579 crore to transform the Jayadev Vihar-Nandankanan road in Bhubaneswar. The project includes expanding the existing 6-lane road to 8 lanes and constructing 6 new flyovers, including a cable-stayed bridge at Jayadev Vihar. Additionally, the Cabinet approved ₹160.2 crore for the development of the Duduka-Gopalpur-Taparia road in Sundargarh and ₹425 crore for two in-stream storage structures in Bargarh and Kalahandi districts.
