Senior IRS officer Ashish Chandra Mohanty has taken charge as the new Director of the Intelligence and Criminal Investigation department of the Income Tax Department in Bhubaneswar. A 2005 batch officer, Mohanty brings over two decades of experience, having previously served as the Income Tax Commissioner in Cuttack. He has also held key positions in the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and the Directorate of Investigation in New Delhi.
