On 4 May 2026, a mimicry artist and social media influencer named Ratan Ranjan dressed up like Mamata Banerjee. He went to the BJP headquarters in Delhi, carrying a plate of jhal muri (a Bengali snack). “Jhal muri” had already become a political symbol in the campaign, so the act was a symbolic jab.
