Senior IRS officer Ashish Chandra Mohanty has assumed charge as the new Director of the Intelligence and Criminal Investigation wing of the Income Tax Department in Bhubaneswar. A 2005 batch officer with over two decades of experience, Mohanty previously served as the Income Tax Commissioner in Cuttack. He has also held key positions in the CBDT's Tax Policy Division and the Directorate of Investigation in New Delhi.
