The Karnataka Prison Department has collaborated with R.V. College of Engineering to launch the 'Cell to Skill' program at Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru. This initiative provides vocational and digital skill training to inmates who have completed at least 10th grade. A well-equipped lab with 30 computers has been set up to teach hardware assembly, networking, and digital literacy. The goal is to empower inmates to lead a respectful life and gain employment after their release, preventing them from returning to crime.
