A tragic road accident occurred on the Amritsar-Pathankot National Highway near Batala when a Tempo Traveller carrying pilgrims from Mata Vaishno Devi collided with a tipper. Two people died and 14 others were injured in the crash. The victims are residents of Mansa district.
