A contractor named Yajnya Singh was brutally attacked and robbed in the Hemgiri area of Sundargarh district. Miscreants stopped his car on the pretext of seeking help, struck him on the head, and fled with his vehicle and cash. The victim was rescued and hospitalized by locals.
