The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has directed the Nabarangpur Collector to submit an Action Taken Report regarding the poor infrastructure and delays in the Saksham Anganwadi centers. Out of 636 sanctioned modern centers, 460 remain unrenovated for three years. Following a news report and a complaint by human rights activist Anup Patra, the NHRC took action.
