A young man named Rahul from Mand Baupur village in Sultanpur Lodhi was murdered due to an illicit relationship. After he went missing, his motorcycle was found near the Beas River bridge. Following a 12-hour search using boats, villagers recovered his body near Karamuwala Port. Police investigation, aided by CCTV footage of a red car, revealed that a woman's husband and two friends killed him and threw the body into the river.
