Cuttack district excise department conducted a major raid against illegal liquor trade in several villages and forest areas under Tigiria police station. Led by Athagarh Excise Inspector Rabinarayan Pradhan under the direction of Superintendent Karuna Shankar Tiwari, the team seized 3,220 liters of country liquor and 31,360 liters of ingredients (jaggery and fermented wash), which were destroyed on site.
