Smart Janpath in Bhubaneswar is facing significant lighting issues with many streetlights remaining non-functional for over a month. Despite being a part of the Rs 103.45 crore redevelopment project from Shishu Bhawan to Vani Vihar, the area, including the stretch in front of BMC headquarters, is plunged into darkness. Authorities explained that the underground wiring was damaged during soil replacement in the medians.
