The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured a massive victory in the Jalalabad Municipal Council elections, winning 12 out of 17 seats. In what was once considered a stronghold of Sukhbir Singh Badal, the Congress managed only 4 seats, while the Shiromani Akali Dal was limited to just 1 seat. The BJP failed to open its account.
