Punjab Police arrested the Additional Superintendent and a warden of Hoshiarpur Central Jail following a viral video by gangster Manpreet Manna. In the video, the gangster alleged widespread drug supply, corruption, and harassment within the prison walls. Following a probe by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by an SP-rank officer, negligence was confirmed, leading to the arrests.
