Congress leader VD Satheesan took oath as the Chief Minister of Kerala at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Administered by the Governor, the ceremony marked the return of the UDF to power in the state after a decade. Along with Satheesan, a cabinet of 20 ministers was sworn in.
