The film originally started during 1992 and then completed in 1994. Due to a dispute between the writer and producer over the ending of the film was delayed and didn't get a release till 1996.
The film was titled "Majhdhaar" during production .The CD's were also released under this title. By the time the film released, the title was changed to "Yeh Majhdhaar".
