'Lion' (2016) is a true story about Saroo, a young Indian boy who gets lost far from home and is adopted by an Australian couple. As an adult, he uses Google Earth and childhood memories to search for his birth family. The film is about identity and belonging but what sticks with you most is how Saroo survived the poverty.
