Days after Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena stepped down, Odisha cadre IPS officer C.A. Ramdas has formally submitted his resignation.
The development came to light on Saturday morning.
According to reports, Ramdas belongs to the 2025 batch and is currently undergoing foundational training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad.Although allotted the Odisha cadre by the central government, he had not yet received his first field posting in the state.The back-to-back resignations of two cadre officers have drawn significant attention to the Odisha police force.
