The Lakshadweep #NCCRally 2025, themed "Dweep Utsav, Rashtriya Gaurav", is underway across the islands, celebrating unity, leadership and adventure. Inaugurated at Kavaratti on 27th October by Maj Gen Ramesh Shanmugam, ADG NCC (Kerala & Lakshadweep) and Gp Cdr Ernakulam Cmde Jose Vikas, the rally covers nine islands over 20 days, with cadets participating in walkathons, cycle rallies, coastal cleanups, water sports and cultural events.
The initiative promotes national integration, environmental awareness and youth leadership, and will culminate on 15 November 2025.
